KOLLEL ZICHRON ARYE LEIB
THE MANHATTAN BEACH COMMUNITY KOLLEL
Dedicated in loving memory of R' Aryeh Leib Stefansky zt'l
.
Kollel Zichron Aryeh Leib, the Manhattan Beach Community Kollel, was established by Rabbi Moshe Plutchok, Shlita in Tishrei 5764 and offers a rigorous program in rabbinic studies geared towards obtaining Simicha.
A major objective in establishing this Kollel was to reinvigorate Manhattan Beach by having young Binai Torah and their families live in our community. Since the Kollel was established we now added nearly two dozen young frum families into the community.
Today the Community Kollel has Ashkenazim, Sephardim, bocuhrim, college students, working men and retirees engaged daily in the study of Torah 1-on-1 and in small chaburahs with members of the Kollel.
Also we have dozens of men and women who regularly attend our many weekly shiurim and lecture programs held on a regular basis during the course of the year.
So if you have 15-45 minutes or more we will find that special person for you to learn with on a level and pace that is comfortable for you.
There are lots of differant subjects to study. Chumash (Bible), Navi (Prophets), Mishlei (Proverbs) or Tehillim (Psalms). Or maybe you want to study Gemorah or Mishnayos (Talmud). Perhaps you are interested in Halacha, (Jewish Law & rules of conduct), or Mussar (How to come closer to G-d), or you might just want to talk to someone about Judaism in general and get a better understanding of what being a Jew in a secular society is all about. No matter what it is that you want to study and accomplish our doors are always open.
If you are would like to set up a study program or if you would like to come and join the Manhattan Beach Community Kollel please contact our Rosh Kollel, R'Akiva Eisenstadt, at (917) 312-0951 or email him at mbkollel@aol.com.
